Privacy Policy

Last checked: 27/08/24

This policy governs the use of your data by NorwichPrinters.co.uk (Rock Solid Graphics Limited) or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates (“we/us/our”) in connection with your use of the website (the “Site”).

By using the Site, you are considered to have read and accepted this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using the Site.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Site.

A. We collect information to process your order, address your queries, enhance your online experience, provide you with information you have expressed interest in, and for record-keeping purposes. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will use your information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

B. You have the option at login to opt out of receiving marketing information from us, our business partners, or selected third parties. You may also tag your account as non-marketable to prevent your data from being shared with third parties.

C. You can change these options at any time by editing your account details or contacting customer services via email.

Data Collected & Purpose of Collection

A. When you log in, we collect your name, address, telephone number, email address, username, and password. This provides us with default details for processing your order and establishes security (so your account details, designs, and order history are password protected).

B. To assist you in selecting the right product and design for your purpose or business, we may ask you to make choices and selections. Only the design details are collected if you choose to save them or place an order.

C. When you place an order, we assign you a customer number, capture your order details, invoicing address, shipping address, and credit card details to process and fulfil your order. Invoicing and shipping addresses are retained for future use, so you do not need to re-enter them. Order details are retained so you can view your order history.

D. You acknowledge that certain services provided on the Site may be delivered by third-party service providers rather than us (for example, see section 8 below). You consent to us transferring your information to such third-party service providers for the purposes of handling your queries, processing orders, and maintaining records.

E. When you enter credit card details, you are communicating over a secure link with PayPal (or another financial system as may be used from time to time). They retain details of the credit card transaction. You must enter your details for each purchase for security reasons.

F. To assist you with your promotions and marketing and tailor our service to your needs, we may ask you for feedback about your business and any information you may require. Providing this information is optional. All this data will be stored to help us effectively meet your needs.

G. You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time by contacting us. We may charge a small fee for this service.

H. You consent to us (and our representatives) disclosing your information to third parties: (i) if we are required to disclose or share your information to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce our Terms of Use or any other contract with you, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, ourselves, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction; and (ii) if we determine that such disclosure is necessary in connection with any investigation or complaint regarding your use of the Site.

Security

  1. The Site has several security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control, including passwords and firewalls. However, we cannot guarantee that these measures are or will remain adequate. We take data security very seriously and will use all reasonable efforts to protect the integrity of the information you provide.
  2. Access to your account data is password protected. You must keep your passwords confidential and not share them with anyone. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your passwords. If you suspect that someone else knows your passwords, you must notify us immediately. If we believe there has been a security breach or misuse of the Site, we may require you to change your passwords or suspend your account without notice.
  3. Our Site may contain links to and from other websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that they have their own privacy policies, and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please review their policies before submitting any information to these websites.
  4. Credit card details are processed by a secure server (as described in section E above).
